Trend T12EK 2300W ½” VARIABLE SPEED PLUNGE ROUTER 240v
Uprated motor delivers consistently high torque to prevent overloading in demanding situations and a faster top speed to produce a finer finish in high-speed applications.
Soft Start prevents ‘kick-back’ on start-up for improved accuracy and a safer, more comfortable user experience.
Perfect for large/wide cutter applications, heavy stock removal and daily trade use.
Automatic power shut-off
IEC 62841-2-17:2017 compliant.
Prevents the router from unexpected start-up if the trigger lock-on switch is engaged, and the power supply is turned on or temporarily interrupted & restored.
In this event, the trigger lock-on switch must be disengaged before the router can restart.
7 Level variable speed control
Variable speed control dial features 7 increments ranging from 9,000rpm to 22,000rpm, which gives the user total control across a wider range of cutter styles, cutter sizes, materials, and applications.
Variable speed control dial is recessed, to prevent accidental adjustment.
Rating Label lists speed ratio chart for easy cross-reference to the cutter shank to ensure cutters are used safely, and at optimum speed.
Built into the ergonomic inclined handle, the power trigger and lock-on switch are operated without releasing the grip, which helps to prevent accidental movement and kick-back when turning the router on and off.
Twin, flicker-free LEDs improve safety and accuracy in low-light situations where work lighting is poor or the use of a jig is casting shadows.
Improved visibility allows users to accurately position the cutter prior to engaging the material and making costly errors.
Lights also indicate when power to the tool is ‘live’, which is useful in combination with the Automatic Power Shut-Off feature
Robust, raised feet on the motor housing provide users with a safe and convenient way of changing cutters whilst preventing dust and debris from work surfaces from entering motor vents.
